This month's batch of new solicitations from DC Direct includes this statue of the Atom, which is due for release in June 2004...

THE ATOM STATUE

Sculpted by Tony Cipriano

Advance-solicited; in stores June 9, 2004. Using matter from a white dwarf star, scientist Ray Palmer created a belt that would shrink its wearer to microscopic size, allowing him to become the pint-sized crimefighter known as the Atom! Now the Batman holds fellow JLA member the Atom in the palm of his hand in this limited edition, hand-painted cold-cast porcelain statue! This statue measures approximately 9” tall x 10 7/8” wide x 6 3/8” deep and is packaged in a 4-color box.

Statue $195.00

This is a nice statue and something that'll look terrific on any bookshelf.

My only question is, WHEN is the DC Direct Atom action figure going to be shown? If there was any figure deserving of getting their own action figure, it's the Atom. He'll be pretty much in scale.
