Hasbro: New Star Wars For 2004

Hasbro has revealed 4 of their new Star Wars figures for 2004 based on A New Hope, including the fan demanded General Jan Dodanna...

OK, for some bizarre reason Hasbro does not allow websites access to images of the product...we have to tell you to go to their site instead (other than thumbnails). I could go on about this forever, but I think sites such as Rebelscum have more of a reason to moan than me, so I'll get onto what needs to be said.

Four figures have been revealed

General Jan Dodonna, Battle of Yavin

Dutch Vander, Gold Leader

TIE Fighter Pilot

Captain Antilles, Fans Choice #5

You'll notice that Dodonna only comes with 3 medals to hand out, which in my mind, although is accurate to the movie, helps promoted the Xenophobism inside the Rebellion ;) All I hope is that in the next round of Star Wars Special Editions, a wrong is righted and Chewie gets a CGI medal.

Hasbro also reveal that they will be releasing a Star Destroyer wave consisting of Admiral Ozzel, Dengar, and Bossk.

How about some more Ralph McQuarrie concept figures? The Stormtrooper is great.

Those look pretty cool. I like the Gold Leader figure a bunch.

Looking forward to the Admiral Ozzel. More Imperial officers is great.

its just a shame that captain antillies looks about twelve years old. and can we have a new vader figure - with neck crushing action feature!
