Yeaaaa baby. Hail to the king...and 50 other Ash-isms. Feel free to play along at home! Matt sends in a report on the Deadites hordes storming the UK...

If you've been out of the loop, these guys are G.I. Joe sized, super articulated and will come in two packs. Series 1 includes...

Hero Ash/Deadite Scout 2-pack
Pit Witch/Deadite Centurion 2-pack
Knight/Deadite Pikeman 2-pack
Deadite/Deadite Footsoldier 2-pack

Palisades Toys is proud to present their first series of action figures
based on director Sam Raimi's 1993 cult-classic film, Army of Darkness.
This horror/comedy/adventure/action/fantasy movie follows the adventures of Ash (Bruce Campbell) as he is transported back in time to 1400 A.D., where he must fight an army of Deadite soldiers, led by an evil version of himself, and retrieve the Necronomicon (the Book of the Dead) to return home.
Now you can create your own Army of Darkness at home, with Palisades'
new fully articulated and eye-poppingly detailed 4-inch scale action
figures. Perfect for fans of the film, collectors, and "army builders"
alike, this is one line that won't make you run home and cry to mamma!

The 2-pack mock up below shows Hero Ash with Necronomicon, Chemistry 101 book, Boomstick, holster & cloak and Deadite Scout with spear & shield.

Listings put these in the UK in October, the US in mid to late summer and a previews exclusive with 2 headed ash pack in September.

this is a silly comment, but i expected there to be a whole lot of great comments. i mean, look at these.....they're so cute and pocketsize. at last, my duke and my ash can play together (that sounds funny out loud by the way). but the 3 & 3/4th size is the best size figures ever (except when mcfarlane attempted it w/ that video game).
rock on you stallion.

Poor Ashley, nobody loves him. I guess people would rather have Evil Dead figures.

Why can't they show the articulation? Agh!

They screwed up not including his chainsaw. Most people will just hold out for that one. And since the first series won't sell well, the second series will be even harder to find. Oops. Better get one just in case.

Yeah I hope these do sell well. I'll pick them up. I love that movie, and it is great to finally have a really cool line of figures for it. At first I don't know if I was all for the scale, but I'm liking it now. I can have my Movie Maniacs Ash to go with my other movie stuff, and clean off a shelf to start building my army of these. I think more lines should have army builder type packs like this. A pretty cool idea, with some really nice looking figures.

Yeah, what's up with the no chainsaw? Oh well, I'm sure they'll put out the typical tattered shirt ass, complete with chainsaw hand. And I'll pick these up anyways. Just to make sure they come out with more.
