You may have been hearing a little buzzing about this around the boards. We've been sitting on it for a bit, trying to figure out the real deal...


Palisades took a break from their insanely busy schedule to give us the details.

Treehouse Kids is proud to present this all new playset featuring the epic confrontation between the Space Marines and the otherworldly creatures from James Cameron’s sci-fi classic Aliens™. This Deluxe Box Set is the first ever Aliens™ playset, fully licensed by Fox.

The set includes:

  • Three different levels, complete with multiple ladders, staircases, railings, and doorways for maximum playability

  • 9 x 2 ½ inch scale Alien Warrior figurines, plus three Alien Eggs

  • 6 x 2 ½ inch scale Space Marines from the film (including Corporal Hicks, Sergeant Apone, and more!) available exclusively with this Deluxe Box Set
  • When fully assembled, this set measures 12 inches high and 17 inches long, with room to house all of your Space Marines and Aliens, as they do battle. And all of the components -- the figures and the playset itself -- come complete with painstakingly authentic details from the film! Who will emerge victorious? It’s up to you!

    This is the first is a series of modular playsets, each representing a different famous scene from the Alien Quadrilogy.

    Hmm, interesting.

    Are the figurines going to be painted at all? They look all one color in that ad.

    sounds like AOME id like to seean alien queen and ripley with teh cargo thingy with a broken bishop, i wont buy these tho, too toyish and im happy with the mcfarlane aliens

    I'm going to have to say this is what the final set will look like. Think army men but with aliens and marines. I like the concept! I think this will be a "wait and see" for a lot of fans untill they announce price points on everything.

    Seems kind of silly to me. Especially for an R rated movie. Sure, war is violent too, but kids don't have to watch wars to play with army men. I can't think of any movies I'd want army-men-sized figures for. Still, it might be fun to paint them, but only if it's cheap.
