2004 Summer Exclusives MEGA Checklist

With Summer Convention Season nearly upon, it's time for our annual round up of the exclusives you will be chasing this summer...

We first ran this feature last year, and it proved to be one of our most popular features from the whole of 2003.

The list is split up by convention in date order. The listings for each convention are ordered by company name. Where we have articles with further information, we've provided a link. Should an exclusive be available at more than one convention it is listed multiple times (once under each convention where it will be making an appearance)

There are a lot of holes at present, as some items have not yet been officially announced, or we're awaiting confirmations. As the summer progresses, we will update this list with any additional info as and when we get it. However, we've got more than enough exclusives to keep you going for now. Note that some thumbnail images may not be of the precise exclusive at the time

If any toy companies see we're missing information or pictures on their company, please do send them in, so we can add them to the list!

Update: The sheer volume of exclusives this year has meant that we've had to do some reorganisation of the MEGA Checklist. We've now split each convention into seperate articles and made it easy to navigate between them all. the links below will take you to the new articles for each convention.

This is just our first pass at it...we put this out earlier than last year and a lot of companies are telling us details will be released in a couple of weeks.... so there are a lot of gaps

Hey, I heard Sub Culture designs / Plan B Toys was offering various Rex Gannon exclusives in San Diego and Chicago.
Each exclusive is one of a kind hand painted by the artist.
I also heard about the coveted 2nd annual Lord of the Scoops award in San Diego this year. Anyone here participating this year?

A con like this, for most people, it'd take more money to get there than would allow for purchasing too many of these items. I'd get a She-Ra, Hordak, Alpha Fighter, Inuyasha figure, Hellboy, The bust up pack, and maybe the Riddick figure. I can't go however as I know many who can not. This con has turned into a scalper paradise. They end up making the money back on what they've horded away from the real collector through the year.

Oh well, just another one of those things that are making people turn away from collecting. I've come to the point of just saying if I see it in store I get it, if not I won't buy it. It's better on the wallet that way, but still not as much fun as a collector as knowing you' won't be able to complete your collection by the end of the year or ever.

I don't know why I'm not going to this, finaly get a convention in my area and there really isn't anything to spend the 20$ emission for. Now if the Sandtrooper or Macross was offered I would have called out from work.

Dang I need that Freddy Springwood slasher figure, and I really need those ren and stimpy fire dogs....but nooooo, it's grandma's 80th birthday, and San Diego, well that just isn't exactly close to here.
