Palisades writes in with news and an image of its first series of action figures bases on Nickelodeon's smash hit series series, The Fairly Odd Parents....

Flip through the channels these days and you’re almost certain to stumble across Fairly Odd Parents™, Nickelodeon’s irreverent and endearing animated show, which puts a contemporary spin on the fairy tale ideal of the “Fairy Godmother.” Timmy’s just an average kid, who know one understands…but what makes things different in the Turner household are Cosmo™ and Wanda™, Timmy’s two Fairy Godparents that no one except Timmy can ever know exist. Gee, with two magical guardians you’d think Timmy’s got it all. Right? Wrong. Smart, stylish and wickedly funny, Fairly Odd Parents has become a runaway smash hit with kids the world over… and their parents, too!

Palisades Toys is proud to present its first series of action figures based on the wacky and wonderful characters from Fairly Odd Parents. Given the popularity of the show, these figures are destined to be “must haves” for collectors and kids of all ages! Series 1 includes fully articulated action figures that have the usual boatload of cool accessories (most of which are episode specific!), and each figure is packed with Wanda and Cosmo in one of their many cool disguises!

Timmy Turner™ – Average Kid and Star of the Show
Timmy’s 10, bucktoothed, with an ever-present pink baseball cap. He’s really smart. Which is why he finds it easy to communicate with adults. Too bad he’s brighter than most of them! Timmy includes a Goldfish Bowl with Nightstand, Baseball, an Enchanted Microphone, a Crimson Chin Comic Book, Eddie the Gerbil, and a Fairly Odd Parents logo figure stand. Plus, Wanda and Cosmo in their signature Goldfish disguises are included!

Vicky™ – Timmy’s Babysitter
“Icky ” with a “V.” Just ask Timmy!! Vicky’s the sixteen-year-old neighborhood girl who baby-sits the local kids to make some extra bucks. Parents think she’s sweet and trustworthy. But her charges know differently. Because she tortures them! And Timmy is her favorite victim! Vicky includes a Diary, her pet dog Doidles, a Chip Skylark CD, a Mini Cassette Recorder (for blackmail of course!), and a Fairly Odd Parents logo figure stand. Plus, Wanda and Cosmo in their Lipstick disguises are included!

Wanda™ – Timmy’s Fairy Godmother
Wanda’s a bit on the wacky side, but when it comes to magic, she’s definitely the more able of the two Godparents! Wanda includes Da Rulez Book, her Magic Wand, a Fairy Cell Phone, a Tropical Drink, a Magic Mirror and a Fairly Odd Parents logo figure stand. Wanda has a special feature where you can remove the lower half and attach the bent legs and a “flying” clear support stand so she can appear to “float” just like she does on the show! And, she comes packaged with Wanda and Cosmo in their Balloon disguises, complete with “floating” balloon supports!

Cosmo™ – Timmy’s Fairy Godfather
He’s got a great sense of humor, loads of excessive energy and he’s always in a good mood. The only thing is, he’s really got no idea what he’s doing in the magic department. Cosmo includes a Fairy TV, Flower Bouquet, Ear of Corn, Rock the Pet Rock, his Magic Wand and a Fairly Odd Parents logo figure stand. Cosmo has a special feature where you can remove the lower half and attach the bent legs and a “flying” clear support stand so he can appear to “float” just like he does on the show! And, he comes packaged with Wanda and Cosmo in their Flower disguises, because Cosmo loves flowers!!

Each case includes 12 assorted figures. All characters and accessories are subject to change. SRP is $14.99.

they are very funny, but too expensive for me, and I don't like the cartoon enough to buy figures from it. Does anyone know wich other figures based on Nickelodeon we can expect???

I wish they had sculpted Cosmo and Wanda floating, I can't really think of anytime (except when they've lost power or pretended to be humans) they've stood on their feet rather then just hovered (and if they can give their balloon forms floating supports they should have been able to give their fairy forms them too)

Still, these are better then Jakk's attempt at the license (the scale alone is a massive improment) and I'll definately be getting them.

I wonder these are to scale with the Invader Zim toys.... I always thought FOP and IZ were very similar looking shows (probably just line weight and color usage more then actual stylization of the art) so it would be real nice to have them in a matching scale.

Nice looking figs, but I don't watch the show.

I mean, where are the toys from the good ol' Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 1970's?

Hong Kong Phooey, baby! C'mon Palisades, it's a money maker waiting to happen!
