Back to planet Mezco for a visit with Extended Features Hellboy, which is essentially two Hellboys in one with some features Mez couldn't drop on us before...8 inch “extended features” Hellboy - This 8 inch Hellboy features all the amazing sculpting and articulation of the first original assortment and includes some new additional detail.
First there is a “real” polystone cold cast hand of doom that is highly detailed AND articulated. Hellboy’s Samaritan is cast in pewter. The figure features a PVC leather duster coat with embossed BPRD logo, metal buckles and buttons. This figure also comes with corpse and rope noose. Basically your getting all the sculpt from Trenchcoat Hellboy with the addition of one of the best small figure scaled pieces of clothing I've ever seen..and underneath the jacket is coatless Hellboy. I've also noticed that EFHellboy has a bit of a darker wash to him which really brings out his features.
Limited to 1000 pieces with closed mouth and 1000 pieces with opened mouth. Run over to booth Booth #4409 at San Diego Comic Con for everything Mezco !

If MEZCO really wants us to buy some more Hellboy figures. Why not, I dont know, intergrate some of these nice features into say Shirtless Hellboy or Anung Un Rama Hellboy? Why not make these figures a bit different from their predecessor? Not like Mezco cares about what we think anyway via their wonderful ignoring of a poll on their own website, where we all told them above all else; WE WANT A LIZ SHERMAN FIGURE! Yeah. That worked out for the best didnt it? So if you want me to pay for more Hellboy variants, intergrate some new features in them PLEASE MEZCO! Hey, would it kill you to give Hellboy more than one head in the future? Your whacky head variant thing with HB grows tiring. One last thing; this new Abe figure should have the ability to stand. You know, STAND! |

You know, it always bothered me that on my trenchcoat Hellboy, the arm with his fist doesn't have elbow articulation....And since this "Extended Features" Hellboy doesn't really have any "Extended features, more like new accesseries or upgradeing without affecting the frame of the figure.... I bet that fist hurts... |

| Hmmm...This is the way the first release trenchcoat Hellboy SHOULD have been done. Maybe Nomad could see his way clear to acquiring one for poor ol' Guido after he did all those reviews for him! Oh, and I too want my Liz figure AND a Nazi Ilsa figure as well. Teah, there's just something about a woman in jack boots... |
