In addition, an exclusive boxed set of all five figures, with unique paint designs and a certificate of authenticity autographed by all five band members will be available at KILLERTOYS.com. “Billy and I met in Japan…he was there on tour and I was working on one of our toy projects,� said SEG President Hugo Stevenson. “We talked for a while about projects we could create together. He showed me some sketches of some of his ideas, and I showed him some of the music product we’d created in the past. It was a natural fit for us to work together to develop Good Charlotte toys for fans and collectors.�

SEG is the leading creator of music-related toys, having developed products based on Limp Bizkit, KISS, Metallica, No Doubt, Pink Floyd, AFI, Less Than Jake and more. This year, in addition to the Good Charlotte products, SEG will also release additional Metallica product, new series of Pink Floyd The Wall maquettes, and products based on The Offspring and Smashing Pumpkins. More music-related products are expected to be announced later in the year. Hailing originally from Waldorf, Maryland, Good Charlotte are twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden, Paul Thomas, Billy Martin and “New Guy� Chris Wilson. The band was started by Benji and Joel in 1995 and their first CD, Good Charlotte, came out on the Epic label in 2000. Their second CD, The Young and the Hopeless, released to smash reviews in 2002. The Warped tour continues to keep them on the move throughout 2004.

Billy Martin put his heart and soul into this line, so we'll give him the last word. "I somehow managed to have yet another one of my dreams come true, I get to make toys! Not only do I get to make toys but also I have held myself as an action figure. I have been into toys since I was a little kid and have always wanted to do something like this. The people at SEG were also nice enough to give me the opportunity to create my own toy line, unfortunately still unnamed at this point. Right now I'm really excited about the way these Good Charlotte toys turned out. I designed them myself and can be pretty picky about my art. Never having done anything like this before, some parts of it were difficult. I've been drawing all my life but I’ve never had to draw the same thing from multiple angles. I liked the fact that it was such a challenge and think the end result was worth it. The toys look really cool and don’t really look like any other band’s toys that I’ve seen out there. I'm hoping these toys will appeal, not only to our fans, but to toy collectors in general."
