ActionFigureXpress let us know that their upcoming Marvel Minimates Exclusive Original & Silver Centurion Iron Man 2-Packwill be available at Wizardworld Chicago, this coming weekend...

ActionFigureXpress has announced that they are to sell an exclusive Iron Man Marvel Minimate 2 Pack. This set sees both the original Iron Man and the Silver Centurion outfit get the Minimate treatment.

This set is exclusive to ActionFigureXpress and limited to 5000 pieces, and they are currently accepting pre-orders for $9.99 with a delivery date of Sometime in August.

However AFX tells us that if you are attending WizardWorld Chicago you'll be able to get them there for a special price

How exactly are we supposed to pre-order these? I don't see any way to do that on AFX's site.

I got a newsletter from them. They took the pre-order option down until after the con. They'll list them next week if they have enough left after filling pre-orders and what they sell at the con. I wouldn't worry. If the Prof X/Magneto 2 pack is any indication, these will be around for awhile.

Plus, none of AA's exclusives have stayed exclusive. They've rereleased or are going to rerelease every one but the Peter Parker/MJ set at mass market. A**holes. Way to thank the fans who ponied up the extra cash when they were exclusives.

Let's not forget the very high shipping price that they use... It basically means it's cheaper to buy them from ebay or in Europe, to wait until someone imports them!
