Art Asylum: FALL TOYFAIR: Batman Begins Minimates

No Pictures allowed, but Nomad was allowed to report back on the Batman Begins items that Art Asylum will be minimating (that sounds rude) in time for the upcoming movie...

First up, the Gargoyle Base which includes Scarecrow and Glider Batman. This is a new Glider Batman with a glider that will attach to his outfit..should be a sweet piece when completed from what I saw at the show. This also features a suction cup with a zip line attaches for Batman to make the perfect entrance. The set should retail for 9.99.

Another 9.99 set is the Shadow Warrior Showdown, includes Ras Al Ghul & Bruce Wayne, featuring spinning bases to simulate the two characters locked in combat.

Then we have the major set..The Fortress of Dooooom. Ok..only two o’s. The set comes with Ras Al Ghul and Ninja Bruce Wayne. NOTE: All sets with Bruce Wayne will include a cape and cowl to bring on the Bat. The Fortress of Doom is essentially a monastery hidden by a world of ice outside. This is where Bruce Wayne get’s his butt kicked daily by ninjas and Ghul himself. Gonna make a man out of that rich boy or die trying I suppose. This set features a spinning base with spots for 6 figures to peg in. The layout is reminiscent of the “House of Blue Leaves” from Kill Bill, with a open lower area and a second floor walk around it.

Next is the Batcave Arsenal. Think of the determination it takes to take a hole in the ground..cut into the rock and dig through the dirt and create a base of operations from which you will strike terror into the hearts of evil men. This is where Bruce Wayne sharpens his batarangs, waiting to strike. For $20, you get a computer setup, weight lifting system, training gear & training area, a wall of weapons and gear. The entrance of the cave lies behind a waterfall, so Art Asylum will be thinking up a way to simulate this look.

To expand this set and complete your cave, there will be a Batmobile with Batcave Diagnostic Center..Batman’s own little high tech shop…complete with lights and sound! This is all taken directly from the movie with wires to connect to the included Batmobile and an XO Armor Batman to ready his vehicle for battle.

From what I've heard on various internet sites, Professor Crane has a small part in the movie. I don't know whether or not he appears in costume, but I kind of doubt it.
