Art Asylum had a number of new DC Minimate figures on display for release with their C3 Construction line, including this one of Brainiac..

Brainiac is an alien genius whose malevolent mind swarmed the galaxies before settling into the consciousness of an innocent Earthman. Slowly, Brainiac imbued his new form with great powers making him more powerful than ever.

This Brainiac minimate will come in a $9.99 C3 set with Green Lantern and a Lunar Rover.

Haven't seen any of the DC minimates in Europe so far (except for the Convention exclusive Bat Glider). I'm wondering if the construction blocks doesn't mean that lots of places that would otherwise order minimates didn't order any. :-(

I wish they would sell the figures separately. I will certainly not buy the most expensive sets JUST for a minimate

legally they CAN'T release them as minimates alone.

those that only want the minimates are S.O.L.

but i think its great that they're doing what they can to get em out there. The mini-flyers will make it easier on a lot of people.

Looks cool cant wait to buy it. I'm happy to see some more Superman related Mini-Mates because with 8 different versions of Batman plus 2 Bruce Wayne already i have enough of him to hold me over for now.
