Music McFarlane: The King is Coming

Thanks to Karnor Jax for reminding me about this story, which has it's origins back at this year's UK ToyFair, and is all to do with an Elvis action figure in 2004...

One of the things McFarlane was telling retailers at the show was that they had just secured the license to Elvis. Now this wasn't information that they were told was super-sensative (some retailers got a top secret look at some at-the-time upcoming lines like Matrix Series 1 and Spawn 23).

Now a lot of things could have changed since then (it could have been canned for all we know), but back in February, McFarlane was telling retailers that he was planned for 2004. So we suggest it's something that you keep an eye open for in the coming ToyFests, although it could be next year before it's officially announced, if at all.

Thanks to Karnor Jax for reminding me!

Whew! That would rock!

I hope they do him circa '68 Comeback Special, when he looked his absolute best IMO.

Anything before that would be okay too, but any 70s white suited version would be SO LAME.

I was told there would be a continuing line and at least 3 figures were planned...

Elvis! Cool! I'm not much a fan of his music, but I'd definately buy a fig of the king!
