Diamond always said that dependent on orders the Angel Series 2 figures might join the joint MAC/Diamond Buffy the Vampire Slayer line...I'm not saying that this is defintely going to happen... Diamond is adopting a wait and see approach. If the Willow figures sell, further figures will be released... it really is down to Buffy fans to keep this line alive.
However, Diamond were showcasing the Angel Series 2 figures this past week to retailers, so it looks like there's a good chance the figures might end up in the Buffy line all going well.
They even showed off the previous exclusive Vampire Darla, which we first showed you as part of our Wizardworld East coverage.
Here's keeping your fingers crossed.

Got my toes crossed too. (Damn it's hard typing with crossed fingers!) The Wesley and The Host sculpts actually look a little...weak. I wish they could tweak them a little more. More detail needed. But hey, at least it's The Host -- my most fave character from Angel. Love his hutzpah! |
