Many of our readers have been emailing in asking for an update on the Highlander toys Diamond has "On Hold", that we first reported back in January.
Obviously, a new deal could come up on a moment's notice, as could any kind of deal on any kind of property, but, for the foreseeable future, this line isn't going to happen. Diamond Select is focusing its efforts on other properties where deals have been signed and products are in production. I can tell you that there is no effort going into Highlander on our part.
As for what the figures would have been, I can't say...nothing ever got past the brainstorming stage, and no decisions were made there.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

| I manage a Wal-Mart in New Hampshire. I cannot count the amount of requests i get for these figures. I would strongly reconsider the effort being put into these figures. |

| As a huge Highlander fan and active member on all Highlander fan websites and the offical website bulletin boards, I can tell you that figures are the most sought after collectible that Highlander fans want!!! I can't understand why a company like Diamond would invest money to purchase rights for a franchise and then do absolutely nothing with it ! It makes no sense at all. Try to get back your investment at least. These figures would sell better than a lot of the lines that are already in production. Many figure collectors and purchasers all say how much they want these figures. Please pass along our desire for these to be made and tell them Highlander fanatics want these most desperately. Please reconsider this Diamond Select...Please!!! |

If Diamond wanted to make a name for themselves they reconsider making these figures. I am a Highlander fan and an active member of the Highlander fan community. The demand for Highlander figures is high. Personally I'v really havent heard much about the Diamond company but I do know turning this project down is a big mistake.
